Steve Fitzer

Steven Fitzer is Vice President for New Mexico at Strategies 360 and a political and public policy strategist with more than 30 years of experience working at every level of government, from city council races to presidential campaigns. He advises candidates, elected officials, and organizations on campaign strategy, public affairs, and political fundraising.

Throughout his career, Steve has worked closely with members of Congress and candidates for U.S. Senate and governor, helping shape campaign strategy, coalition engagement, and messaging that advance policy and political goals.

He is widely recognized as a leading Democratic strategist working with Native American candidates and campaigns. His work includes advising and supporting major Native American Democratic leaders across the country, including Sharice Davids, Deb Haaland, Mary Peltola, Peggy Flanagan, and Jonathan Nez. Steve brings deep experience in coalition building, Tribal engagement, and political fundraising that helps candidates and organizations navigate complex political environments.
