Mike served six years as an Army Air Defense Artillery Officer, deploying twice with Patriot missile system units as a tactician and operations officer. He later served as South Sound and Olympic Peninsula Outreach Director for U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell, representing the Senator across the region and working closely with local leaders, organizations, and constituents.
