Alyson Marchi-Young

Alyson Marchi-Young is Director of Strategic Communications at Strategies 360, where she brings 20 years of experience designing and executing communications strategies that advance policy, strengthen reputations, and mobilize stakeholders. Alyson leads internal communications for the firm’s multi-state footprint while advising clients on messaging, media engagement, content strategy, and reputation management across a multitude of industries and needs.

Her work spans education, housing affordability, workforce development, land use, and environmental policy. She has led high-profile campaigns, including statewide coalition communications for Oregon’s Climate Protection Program and strategic messaging efforts supporting major affordable housing initiatives. Known for her thoughtful planning and audience-driven approach, Alyson helps organizations translate their priorities into compelling narratives that deliver results.

She began her career in nonprofit development, raising millions of dollars for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and Oregon Public Broadcasting by building innovative corporate partnerships that expanded community impact. She later transitioned into policy communications, helping advocate for diverse urban housing solutions and protections for natural resources at the 1,000 Friends of Oregon.
