Meet the Strategist: Will Badenhausen is Focused on Nonprofit Success
Nonprofits operate in a uniquely challenging environment where mission is paramount, resources are limited, and every dollar must work harder. Digital marketing tools have been a highly effective and efficient means for non-profits to reach altruistic, engaged, and mission-aligned people across their community. At Strategies 360, we know how to use these tools to make any client’s outreach more impactful. For non-profits, our team has homed digital marketing expertise to maximize the unique opportunities available to them.
One strategist is leading the way.
Always learning to deliver better strategies
Will Badenhausen views his work with clients as a partnership. He values the collaborative process for every project, starting with gaining a better understanding of clients’ businesses and their internal goals, strengths, and pain points. Listening to understand first, means Will can guide clients with strategic offerings and ideas that address their core needs.
With over a decade of experience in digital marketing, Will has seen many iterations of each major ad network and knows how to use them strategically. His background working for creative agencies at different sizes and capacity, means he’s developed a toolbox of skills beyond pure digital marketing. From website design to project management, Will offers a well-rounded base of knowledge to support clients across their marketing efforts.
Always learning, Will uses past projects as a guide for what worked, what didn’t work, and what could be useful for testing in the future. He applies these experiences, combined with his understanding of a client’s specific challenges and needs, to set up every new project for success.

Guiding nonprofit clients for impactful results
Though Will works with clients across industries, he has a passion for collaborating with nonprofits that impact his community for good. Will knows from experience that impactful digital marketing doesn’t need to be about the size of a budget, but rather how strategically it is used. That reality shapes his thinking about nonprofit clients from strategy to execution.
Before anything, Will looks at a client’s website donation flow – how a user can donate and what, if any, pain points are apparent in the process. Driving traffic is only half of the battle. One of the most critical and often overlooked factors in nonprofit campaigns is the post-click experience.
Will applies his knowledge of website interfaces and user experience to guide nonprofits to ensure they have a well-designed landing page to accompany a strong ad campaign that generates interest. He recommends:
- Clean, intuitive user interfaces
- Mobile-friendly design
- Clear donation pathways
Will also seeks early information from clients about their donor profile. What type of people are aligned with a cause? Strategically, it’s important to know who a client wants to reach, because you can’t speak to everyone. He will also consider where donation money goes so that he can support ad content that helps audiences understand exactly how their money makes a difference.
When a nonprofit works with Will, they can expect strong guidance on the most impactful strategies in digital marketing to ensure their budget goes even further. After setting up and deploying an ad campaign, Will’s day-to-day includes tracing performance trends, budget pacing, and message testing. There are a lot of levers we can pull in the digital world, and he uses those signals to guide optimizations for each campaign.
Will’s advice for nonprofits right now
As digital landscapes continue to evolve, so too will nonprofit marketing strategies. Will expects to see:
- A growing reliance on internal advocates and community champions, whose authentic voices can cut through digital noise more effectively than traditional advertising.
- Increased need to modernize websites, ensuring they are optimized not just for users, but also for discoverability in AI-driven search environments.
- Greater integration of AI tools, helping nonprofits do more with less while maintaining a human-centered approach to storytelling.
