Ryan Karlsgodt is Manager of Market Research at Strategies 360 with more than 15 years of experience in politics, public policy, and opinion research. He specializes in qualitative and focus group research that helps clients understand audience motivations, test messaging, and refine strategy before going to market.

Ryan began his career in national politics, conducting research for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and on President Obama’s reelection campaign. He later served in the Obama White House and as a political appointee at USAID. He has since focused on local politics and consulting, including work with UNITE HERE in San Diego and advising a wide range of public and private clients.

His experience across federal agencies, labor organizations, and local campaigns gives him a broad perspective on stakeholder dynamics. Ryan translates research findings into practical strategic guidance that strengthens campaigns, public engagement efforts, and policy initiatives.
