A body-inclusive luxury brand finds its footing
Amour 781 set out to build a luxury shop for plus-size shoppers, in an industry full of token size ranges. The brand wanted a space where these shoppers could shop with confidence and joy, and it needed to find its footing with that audience.

What We Did
We started with qualitative and quantitative research to understand the customers and the market. Then we built a creative and media strategy as a test-and-learn program, refining messages and the media plan every week.
We developed a strategy that celebrated, without patronizing, every body type. In an industry ripe with condescension and subtle body shaming cues we set out to build a brand that didn’t “accept” all body types but normalize them. Throughout our campaigns we continually checked in with our audience, elevating their voices and adjusting messaging and product to reflect their needs.
Meanwhile, our web team streamlined the site’s purchase path and used analytics to guide a full site refresh. An editorial calendar and visual direction for photo shoots kept content fresh.
