As Vice President of Oregon Governmental Affairs, Meredith works closely with clients to develop and execute a detailed and individualized legislative agenda. Before joining S360, Meredith worked as the legislative director for the Oregon League of Conservation Voters (OLCV). She was responsible for coordinating the Oregon Conservation Network (OCN), a coalition of nearly 50 environmental groups, dedicated to passing state laws to protect the environment for generations to come. Through her work with OLCV, Meredith successfully passed updates to Oregon’s iconic Bottle Bill, secured funding for marine reserves, and worked closely with Gov. John Kitzhaber’s office to pass the Cool Schools legislation. Earlier, she worked as Oregon Rep. Jules Bailey’s policy director, managing the policy and staff for the office. She began her career in Oregon as the recruitment director for America Coming Together in 2004, working to get out the vote across the state during the Presidential election. It was here that she discovered her love for politics, organizing, and working with coalitions.
While not working, Meredith loves camping, hiking, seeing live music throughout the state, and cooking up feasts for her friends and family. Meredith was born in New York and has lived in Hawaii, Vermont and Italy, but she’s called Oregon home for a decade. She earned a B.A. from the University of Vermont.
