Meredith works closely with clients to develop and execute a detailed and individualized legislative agenda. With over a decade of experience in the Oregon State Legislature Meredith possesses in-depth knowledge of the legislative process and has stellar working relationships with elected officials, staff, and key state policymakers. In a rapidly changing political landscape, Meredith offers quick insights to help her clients move their policy goals forward. Meredith has been successful in increasing housing supply throughout the state, helping Oregon move to a clean energy economy and protecting health care for vulnerable Oregonians.
Before joining S360, Meredith worked as the Legislative Director for the Oregon League of Conservation Voters. Here she coordinated the Oregon Conservation Network, a coalition of nearly 50 environmental groups. She successfully advocated for updates to Oregon’s iconic Bottle Bill, funding for marine reserves, and passing the Cool Schools legislation – a first in the nation.
Meredith began her career in Oregon as the Recruitment Director for America Coming Together in 2004, working to get out the vote across the state during the Presidential election. It was here that she discovered her love for politics, organizing, and working with coalitions. From there, she served as Policy Director for a State Representative.
Meredith hails from the east coast where she received her B.A. from the University of Vermont. She and has lived in Hawaii, New York City and Italy, but she’s called Oregon home for over a decade. During her free time, you can find her gardening, hiking in the Pacific Northwest, making soup, seeing live music and spending time with her pets.
