Communications Manager
As a Communications Manager in the Hawaiʻi office, Jennifer collaborates with organizations to develop strategic communications plans through brand development, media support and management, and community outreach. With a background in journalism, Jennifer provides S360 clients with expertise in news and media relations, storytelling, multi-media production and video editing.
Jennifer comes to the S360 team with an award-winning history in television news. Jennifer was a news producer for over six years with Hawaiʻi’s number one news station, “Hawaiʻi News Now.” There, she was part of a morning news team that won multiple awards for its live broadcast from ʻIolani Palace — the first ever live broadcast from Hawaiʻi’s royal residence — and produced the state’s most-watched evening newscasts at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Jennifer launched “Hawaiʻi News Now: First at Four” and received three Regional Emmy Awards, including five nominations, as well as an Associated Press Television and Radio Award.
Jennifer grew up on Oʻahu and has a deep connection to the community. She is passionate about the Hawaiian culture and perpetuates its history and language as a hula dancer with Hālau Hula ʻO Hokulani.
Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degrees in journalism and English from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
