Senior Vice President, Alaska
Taylor has established himself as one of the top emerging political and communications strategists in the state since returning to Alaska in 2009, having most recently served as executive director of the Alaska Redistricting Board, where he was tasked with overseeing the drawing of new boundaries for Alaska’s state legislative districts. Prior to that, Taylor worked for the Alaska Republican Party where he oversaw electoral strategy, advised targeted campaigns on communications and messaging, and successfully helped elect candidates to office across the state. He has managed campaigns at the local, gubernatorial and congressional level and previously worked for the Republican National Committee, where he served as director of election day operations for the battleground state of Nevada during the presidential cycle in 2008.
Born and raised in Alaska, Taylor got his start in politics interning for Senator Lisa Murkowski. In his free time, he enjoys taking advantage of Alaska’s great outdoors and is also active in local politics and community service. He lives in Anchorage with his wife, Dani, and their basset hound, Lucy.
Taylor is a graduate of West Virginia University with a B.A. in political science and philosophy.
