Marisa Yamane is the Vice President of Communications at Strategies 360’s Hawaii office, where she leverages more than 25 years of experience in journalism and strategic communications to help clients develop and execute integrated communications strategies.

Marisa previously served as Director of Communications for the Hawaii Tourism Authority, where she led initiatives in media relations, branding, public affairs, crisis communications, public relations, and strategic planning.

Her Hawaii journalism career includes leadership roles at KITV4 Island News, where she was an Anchor and Executive Producer, and KHON2 News, where she worked as an Anchor and Reporter.

Marisa is the recipient of numerous professional honors including the Emmy Award, Edward R. Murrow Award, and Telly Award.

Marisa is a proud graduate of Iolani School, and she earned a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA. Born and raised in Hawaii, Marisa’s deep roots give her insight into the local market, culture, and communities.

Outside of work, Marisa is an avid traveler who has explored more than 50 countries across all seven continents. She is also a lifelong and passionate foodie who loves discovering new restaurants and cuisines.
