S360 adds 13th state to ever-expanding footprint with opening of Texas office, highlighted by legislative strategist and lobbyist Jake Posey working alongside veteran communications professional Marc Rylander

The firm is opening an office in the Texas capital, adding Jake Posey and Marc Rylander to an already powerful list of public affairs, marketing, research and communication experts. The office will focus on the S360 core competencies of government affairs, public policy and communications, while providing a full range of complimentary services including advertising, research, creative and digital marketing, and culturally-specific outreach.

The newly formed S360 Texas office will serve a vast portfolio of existing and new government affairs clients, while expanding public relations and communications services under the direction of Marc Rylander. Marc joins the firm as Senior Vice President of Communications for Texas, following nearly five years of service to the Office of the Texas Attorney General where he led all messaging efforts for the 4,200-employee agency. In that role, he spearheaded a comprehensive media strategy including hundreds of national, state, and local media appearances for the Attorney General.

Early in his career, Jake worked with nationally recognized consulting firms, innovative high-tech startups and global leaders in the telecommunications industry, before working at the Texas Capitol. Following his service at the capitol, Jake founded a successful government relations and business law practice in Austin, Texas. His diverse experiences, inside knowledge of the state capitol, and strong relationships with policymakers yield effective results in support of client goals.
