As Executive Assistant for Strategies 360’s D.C. office, Talia utilizes her organization, communications, and public affairs skills to contribute to Strategies 360’s work with communications campaigns, proposal and grant writing, and government relations. She also manages the administrative aspects of the workplace.
Prior to joining Strategies 360, Talia served as a public affairs assistant with Kivvit, where she developed public affairs and communications skills such as drafting op-eds and social media posts, creating press lists, assisting with media training sessions, and sending out press clips to clients. Before Kivvit, Talia interned with the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) as a government relations and communications intern, monitoring and summarizing legislation pertaining to health and human services as well as assisting with the editing of APHSA’s monthly magazine.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Talia attended Texas A&M University and earned a BA in political science, along with a double minor in sociology and philosophy. An avid music and arts lover, Talia enjoys spending her free time listening to and discovering new music, going to concerts and music festivals, and of course, visiting the Smithsonian museums. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, cheering on the San Antonio Spurs, and is currently enjoying the abundance of Peruvian food that the D.C. area offers.
