Pele Peacock Fischer

Senior Vice President, Arizona

As Senior Vice President of S360’s Arizona practice, Pele Peacock Fischer leads the firm’s professional team of advocates, community builders, and communicators to create impactful policies across the state. Her extensive work in government relations, representing a broad range of public and private clients before legislative and administrative bodies, has earned her wide recognition as an Arizona policy expert and a highly successful lobbyist with unwavering ethics. With over 15 years working at the intersection of law and policy, Pele understands the intricacies of lawmaking at the local, state, and federal levels.

Prior to joining S360, Pele was the principal for the government affairs and legal consulting firm, Peacock Legal, PLC. Her work here included advancements in telemedicine, health information exchange reforms, Medicaid restoration and expansion, the Arizona Opioid Act, restoration of KidsCare, the Smart and Safe Arizona Act, and Democracy defense, among other important state policies and initiatives.

Over the past decade, Pele has been intimately involved in some of the most complex and impactful policies in Arizona. This includes serving as Vice President of Policy and Political Affairs for the Arizona Medical Association where she directed strategies in legal, political, and regulatory development and advocacy. Before joining the Arizona Medical Association, Pele served as a Senior Policy Advisor and Staff Attorney for the Arizona House of Representatives for multiple committees including Health, Human Services, Commerce, and budget and appropriations matters. She began her legal career as a Law Clerk in the U.S. Senate.

Pele is very active in the community and currently serves as the President for the Arizona Public Health Association, on the Board of Directors for the Cactus-Pine Council of the Girl Scouts, on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Mental Health Research and is a member of the Arizona International Women’s Forum. She also was member of the Take the Lead Healthcare Leadership Program 2018 Cohort, was a Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy Fellow in 2013 and graduated from Scottsdale Leadership in 2011.

Pele is a lifelong Arizonan who grew up in the state. She earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and her J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law. Pele loves Arizona and its passionate for policy that ensures Arizona’s bright future. When not at the Capital you will find her on one of the many hiking trails Arizona has to offer or on the sidelines of her son’s sporting events.
