Liz Accola Meunier
Director of Communications
Liz Accola Meunier brings more than a decade of political and communications experience to the Strategies 360 team. As Director of Communications in Oregon, she works with clients to break through the challenging media climate and reach their most essential audiences with the right message. She offers a special focus on digital communications including social media, websites, and digital advertising.
In 2016, Liz entered Oregon politics serving as Governor Kate Brown’s Communications Director for her successful campaign. She turned her focus to digital communications the following year as Digital Strategist at Wheelhouse Northwest, working with local and statewide advocacy campaigns, political candidates, and government entities to develop a strong and unique online strategy, and build “digital” coalitions to push content further. Liz has run paid and organic digital communications for more than a dozen successful campaigns, including the Better Care Oregon legislative campaign in 2017, Yes for Affordable Housing ballot measure campaign in 2018, and the HereTogether ballot measure for homeless services in 2020.
Originally from Wisconsin, Liz kick-started her career in her home state serving on Democratic candidate Tom Barrett’s gubernatorial race in 2010 and at the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. She later moved to the Washington, D.C. area where she worked as Communications Manager at the America Votes national office assisting advocacy coalitions in more than 11 states.
Liz earned her B.A. in Political Science from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In her free time she enjoys baking, gardening, and taking on way-too-ambitious DIY projects. She volunteers as a Skywarn spotter for the National Weather Service and loves talking about the weather unironically.
Liz lives in NE Portland with her husband, Dan, and French bulldog, Oscar.
