Eric Chalmers

Advisor, Arizona

Eric brings a wealth of political experience to the S360 team as a key advisor on campaigns and public affairs projects. He has significant expertise in field organization, campaign strategy, communications, political management, fundraising, and events planning. Eric’s work is driven by his passion to see the West as a diverse place where all have the opportunity to live and thrive.

Eric first learned the art of politics in Washington state working for Jay Inslee’s successful 2012 gubernatorial campaign before moving to Washington, DC to work for Senator Patty Murray’s staff on the Senate Budget Committee. Eric moved back to his home state of Arizona to join Ann Kirkpatrick’s campaign for the U.S. Senate. He managed candidate call time, an in-state events program that raised over one million dollars, and a robust internship program that had over 100 participants over the course of the campaign.  After the campaign Eric took a step back from politics to work for a small company focused on grant writing, implementation, and evaluation, but couldn’t stay out of the political arena for long.

Eric became the Finance Director for then-Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton’s campaign for Congress in Arizona’s battleground 9th Congressional District. He was promoted to Campaign Manager and successfully guided the campaign to a groundbreaking win with a 22% margin of victory – the largest ever in the district. Eric then served as the Congressman-Elect’s transition manager, helping secure the Congressman-elect’s committee priorities, hiring and onboarding new D.C. and District staff, and acted as the Senior District Advisor managing the Congressman’s time and activities in-district.

When not focused on winning elections, Eric is also the Head Tennis Coach for Brophy College Preparatory’s tennis team. He is also on the board of the Family to Family Foundation, an organization focused on providing resources to families in rural El Salvador so their children can seek and complete an education. He holds a BA in political science from Seattle University, with minor’s in history and economics.
