Danielle brings a broad background in marketing and communications, campaign work, and a passion for small businesses and start-ups. She has a knack for writing, an eye for design, and is a natural relationship and coalition builder. Since joining the Strategies 360 team, Danielle has helped to secure big wins for everyday Oregonians in the Legislature and on the ballot. Social media advocacy, community outreach, paid digital advertising, media expertise, copywriting, and graphic design are all in her wheelhouse.
Danielle’s legislative communications work has included helping Oregonians for Affordable Prescriptions (OCAP) pass prescription drug pricing reform bills with outstanding bipartisan support (HB 4005, HB 2658); assisting the ACLU of Oregon with the passage of an omnibus juvenile justice reform bill (SB 1008), and working with 1000 Friends of Oregon to help alleviate Oregon’s housing crisis with the passage of HB 2001. She worked with the Stable Homes for Oregon Families coalition in the months leading up to the 2019 Legislative session to prepare for the successful passage of SB 608, landmark legislation that protects renters from no-cause evictions and extreme rent increases.
On the ballot-side, Danielle led the communications and grassroots field campaign that ensured Beaverton Public Schools’ levy renewal passed by 73% in May 2018; and the communications support and strategy for the No Cuts to Care campaign that helped defeat anti-abortion Measure 106 in the midterm election by 65%. Prior to joining S360, Danielle worked as Communications Director for Oregon’s Ballot Measure 101, which passed by 63% in the January 2018 Special Election.
Danielle is also proud to have worked on the paid digital promotion of Oregon Historical Society’s new permanent collection, Experience Oregon, and the launch of Metro Council President Lynn Peterson’s social media channels. She is a graduate of Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a B.F.A. in English and Creative Writing. She lives in North Portland with her partner Jeff and son, Ori.
