As a Public Affairs Associate in the Hawaii office, Cindy supports efforts to expand and execute outreach strategies that move client priorities forward. She is responsible for engaging with a variety of stakeholders across both the public and private sectors in Hawaii.
Cindy brings a strong history of public service to Strategies 360. She got her start in the field as an intern in both chambers of Congress, the Department of State, the Hawaii state Office of the Public Defender, and the Hawaii Senate. She has also served as a campaign staff member for Hawaii state Senator Karl Rhoads, as his social media and outreach coordinator for the 2020 campaign. With this background, Cindy honed her expertise in outreach and community engagement.
Cindy graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she double majored in Political Science and Peace and Conflict Resolution, and earned a minor in Chinese. She is an intermediate speaker of Cantonese and Mandarin. While in college, Cindy was an Ambassador for the College of Social Sciences and a competitive British Parliamentary debater.
When not working, you can find Cindy exploring the beautiful hiking trails that Hawaii offers or in the kitchen, experimenting with different types of cuisines.
