Casey brings her expertise and diverse background in media, politics, and outreach to help Strategies 360’s Idaho clients meet their organizational needs and objectives. She helps coordinate events, public relations and advertising campaigns, outreach efforts, and donor campaigns. Casey leads the Strategies 360 team that helps produce Idaho’s annual statewide day of charitable giving with the Idaho Nonprofit Center. In its second year, Idaho Gives raised more than $780,000 for more than 500 nonprofit causes across the state, in 24 hours. Casey directed the PR and marketing efforts, including producing PSAs which garnered more than $100,000 in free air time during a statewide media campaign. Previously, Casey worked as a development officer for Learning Lab, a nonprofit organization dedicated to literacy for all. She also served as the campaign finance director for U.S. Rep. Walt Minnick and for Boise Mayor David Bieter.
Casey has served as a staffer in the Idaho Senate and has worked as an advisor on congressional, legislative, and local campaigns in Idaho since 2006. She has also worked for the largest media group in the Treasure Valley, where she coordinated large, cross-platform promotions between six radio stations and two television stations. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and playing in Idaho’s great outdoors. Casey graduated from the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in journalism.
