As Senior Director for Sacramento, Bryan utilizes his diverse background to help guide government and politics in the California Statehouse and surrounding state agencies and departments. Bryan brings nearly a decade of government experience to Strategies 360 to guide clients with effective strategies for engaging the California government.
Prior to S360, Bryan spent four years working in the education space for California’s constitutionally elected State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond. As a senior legislative representative at the California Department of Education, Bryan helped to advance the Superintendent’s legislative initiatives and proposals. He has also served as Manager of Public Affairs at the California Student Aid Commission helping Californians gain greater access to college. Before that, he worked for Senator Steve Bradford as a legislative aide and consultant for the California Legislative Black Caucus.
Bryan has a Business Management degree from the University of San Francisco and a Master of Public Policy and Administration degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Bryan has a passion for education and is a lifelong learner. Each fall, Bryan teaches Political Science at Sacramento City College to incoming students.
Bryan was born and raised in the greater Sacramento area and maintains close ties to his family, friends, and community. He takes pride in being the “funcle” (fun uncle) to his nieces and nephews, and on the weekends, Bryan enjoys a long run and Saturday doughnuts.
