Amy Nerison brings a decade of political and government experience, including managing campaigns, working with state legislatures and executive offices, and policy development in Washington, DC to the S360 team in Montana. Her wide-ranging experience has helped her clients in technology, health care, natural resources, and other regulated industries connect with key government decision makers and tell the story of their contributions to the state and its people.

Amy joined the Strategies 360 Montana office after serving as the Director of Public and Government Affairs for S360 clients in New Mexico. Prior to her lobbying career, she spent three years in the office of New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez where she oversaw policy and operations of the state natural resources, environment, and agriculture agencies. She spearheaded an effort of multiple Western states to streamline federal red tape that spurred a congressional hearing, federal legislation, and two secretarial directives addressing the issue.

Previously, Amy served as a legislative assistant in the Minnesota House of Representatives and managed campaigns in targeted races. In Washington, DC, Amy worked on the policy team at a non-profit to advance ideas that foster broad-based economic opportunity, promote entrepreneurialism in technology, and protect the free exchange of ideas.

Amy grew up in a small mountain town in the West and is happy to be raising her two young children among the lakes, rivers, and trails around Helena. She holds a bachelor’s degree in global studies with a focus on governance and politics from the University of Minnesota.
