Driven to create a meaningful difference in the world, Alex joined Strategies 360 as a Public Affairs Manager to support clients working on critical issues in Colorado. In this role, Alex creates and executes outreach strategies from grassroots to grasstops – connecting with leaders, elected and government officials, press and advocacy organizations to move client goals forward.
Experienced in campaigns and advocacy, Alex got his start in college advocating on behalf of houseless college students such as himself to access their universities shower facilities regularly. He then built a career supporting legislative efforts that focused on improving people’s lives. This includes serving as a Legislative Assistant with the Consumer Attorneys of California to coordinate a consumer rights coalition. From there, he went to NextGen America serving multiple roles to successfully turn out some of the most underrepresented and low-propensity voters in the regions: millennial and Latinx voters.
Prior to joining S360, Alex was the Managing Director at Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC) Action Fund. Here he oversaw one of the largest voter engagement campaigns that focused on turning out BIPOC voters in the 2020 electoral cycle in Colorado. He also founded the coalition’s federal PAC, the National Immigrant Victory Fund, which focused on flipping Colorado’s U.S. Senate seat from red to blue in 2020.
As a DREAMER, Alex has a life-long commitment towards immigrant rights, and he brings his passion to work daily. When not organizing campaigns or driving advocacy efforts, he enjoys mountaineering, hiking and traveling, with a goal of climbing Mt. Denali.
