Strategies 360 expands Washington, D.C. office with addition of communications strategist
Strategies 360 is pleased to announce that Lewis Lowe has joined the firm as communications director for federal affairs in our Washington, D.C. office. With more than five years of political and public policy communications experience, Lewis helps clients devise and deliver their messages and priorities to federal lawmakers and the Beltway press corps.“We are really pleased to expand our D.C. office and increase our communications outreach on federal and national issues,” said Ron Dotzauer, co-founder and CEO of Strategies 360. “Lewis understands both the policy side of issues and what moves the needle with the media.”
Previously, Lewis served Representative Bobby Bright of Alabama as communications director, overseeing messaging, communications, and earned media for a freshman member of Congress from one of the most competitive districts in the country. Lewis’s experience with new members from challenging districts runs deep: he also worked for Representative Don Cazayoux of Louisiana as communications director. During his time on the Hill, Lewis gained in-depth experience in messaging on high-profile legislative issues, including the economic crisis, health care reform, financial regulatory overhaul, and energy reform.
“Lewis knows how to navigate the Hill and work across party lines to move clients’ interests forward,” said Eric Sorenson, S360 co-founder and president. “Enhancing communications services in our D.C. office will be of tremendous benefit to clients across the firm.”
Prior to working in Congress, Lewis coordinated press on campaigns in Louisiana and North Carolina, and worked as a consultant for a direct mail and general campaign consulting firm in Baton Rouge.
Lewis has a B.A. in political science and history from Tulane University.
