Communications Director for Federal Affairs
As Communications Director for Federal Affairs, Lewis Lowe brings more than five years of political and public policy communications experience to Strategies 360’s Washington, D.C., office. Lewis helps clients devise and deliver their messages to federal lawmakers and the Beltway press corps.
Previously, Lewis served Representative Bobby Bright of Alabama as communications director, overseeing messaging, communications, and earned media for a freshman member of Congress from one of the most competitive districts in the country. Lewis’s experience with new members from challenging districts runs deep. He also worked for Representative Don Cazayoux of Louisiana as communications director. During his time on the Hill, Lewis garnered in-depth and hands-on experience in messaging on some of the most high-profile legislative issues, including the economic crisis, health care reform, financial regulatory overhaul, and energy reform.
Prior to working in Congress, Lewis handled press on campaigns in Louisiana and North Carolina, and worked as a consultant for a direct mail and general campaign consulting firm in Baton Rouge.
When he’s not following politics, Lewis enjoys backpacking in the Shenandoah Mountains, New Orleans culture and music, playing tennis and softball, watching sports, and writing. He is an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.
Originally from the small west Georgia town of Hogansville, Lewis has a B.A. in political science and history from Tulane University.
