Meredith Kenny
Director of Media Strategy

As Director of Media Strategy, Meredith Kenny works closely with our Alaska and D.C. teams to bridge clients’ interests across the Western United States and in Alaska. Based in our Seattle office, Meredith also works with clients to set and meet their federal relations goals.

Formerly a veteran press secretary on Capitol Hill, Meredith oversaw communications strategy, media relations and outreach for Rep. Don Young, Alaska’s only congressman, and 6th longest serving member in the House. Serving as director of communications for Young, Meredith developed public relations opportunities, managed communications and handled crisis management.

Meredith has served as an on-the-record spokesperson with print and broadcast outlets and developed social media outreach strategies and audiences. Working closely at the intersection of public policy and communications, Meredith has created communications strategies for high profile energy and environmental policies. She also helped craft Young’s re-election victories, including his 2008 comeback victory, ranked #6 of the Top 10 political upsets by Politico. Meredith also previously served as a legislative assistant.

In her free time, Meredith enjoys walking, hiking, exploring Seattle, and traveling.  She’s been to more than 40 communities in Alaska, including Barrow, the northern most point in North America, and some of the state’s most remote villages.

A native of New Jersey, Meredith is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University with a B.A. in Political Science.
