Joanie Deutsch

Joanie is a strategic and creative public relations professional with a background in government relations, public policy, media relations and crisis communications.
Joanie brings substantial legislative policy and advocacy experience to the S360 office in Olympia, the state capital of Washington. She assists clients in effectively delivering their messages to legislators, regulators and other decision makers, as well as tracking and monitoring the complex legislative process.
Before joining S360, Joanie served in the Office of the Secretary of State on the communications team and later as a policy analyst in the Elections Division. She worked with reporters, legislators and decision makers on topics ranging from incorporation filings and public records to election results and litigation. Joanie helped launch the first social media program in Washington State government.
In her spare time, Joanie enjoys all things outdoors with her daughter and husband, including camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, and taking in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She also enjoys giving back to her state and community as an active volunteer for several organizations.
Joanie is a native of the Tri-Cities and a graduate of Saint Martin's University in Lacey, where she majored in Political Science.
