Developed messaging that resonated with legislators and allies to promote discussion within the capitol during the Legislature’s 2011 session.
Developed and implemented an “in-building” strategy to communicate with leadership, key committee members, champions and allies.
Developed and produce communication materials, including 1-pager, verbal and written testimony, project case studies, and floor speeches.
The Success
The Low Income Community Investment & Jobs Initiative passed the Legislature unanimously, bolstering economic development, job creation and provided matching money for a successful federal credit, bringing both public and private funds into Oregon from across the nation.
