Brian Cronin
Senior Vice President, Idaho Operations
Brian leads S360 Idaho, helping clients to succeed with a broad array of strategic communications services, including marketing, branding, PR, and social media. Brian’s multi-faceted background as a business consultant, entrepreneur, outgoing state legislator, and former educator gives him a broad range of experience in the public and private sectors.
Elected in 2008, Brian enjoyed a distinguished tenure as a legislator. In 2011, the Aspen Institute named him a “rising star” in American politics, selecting him as a Rodel Fellow. He was also named a New Deal Leader and invited to the White House to discuss economic development strategies.
Brian’s background includes 15 years in marketing and communications through his own business, Cronin & Associates, and at digital marketing firm Wirestone. Brian co-founded Garabatos Spanish Preschool and online and mobile marketing platform DealChirp. He has served on the boards of the Idaho Human Rights Education Center, Boise State Public Radio, the Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affairs, and the Boise Metro Chamber’s Small Business Success Center. Active in the community, Brian has served as a volunteer with the United Way, Agency for New Americans, American Red Cross, and others.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys all things salsa—the music, the dance, and the condiment. He loves taking advantage of Idaho's great outdoors, including an annual father-daughter backpacking trip. He's been known to coach soccer, play tennis, sing in choral groups, and was a 2012 contestant in Boise's "Dancing with the Stars." Brian lives in Boise with his wife Veronica and his twin daughters.
Brian holds a B.A. in History from Haverford College. He spent a year in Ecuador volunteering with WorldTeach as a university professor and has also taught in inner city and suburban public schools in New York City. Brian also earned a Master of Education degree in teaching and curriculum from Harvard University.
